Woman killed in Fort Wayne shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WISH) — A woman was shot and killed in Fort Wayne late Tuesday night, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.
Police say officers responded to the 1400 block of Ventura Lane regarding a person being shot at approximately 11:51 p.m. They found a woman lying in the driveway of a residence with several gunshot wounds.
The woman was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Preliminary information indicates the woman was shot inside a vehicle.
No information about a possible suspect was immediately available.
