Indianapolis dog to be in Puppy Bowl

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A rescue dog from Indianapolis will take part in this year’s Puppy Bowl.

On Wednesday, the pup began training for the big game with IndyCar driver Simon Pagenaud. The two met up at the Yard of Bricks at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The dog named Pistachio was rescued by Dr. Tara Harris, a pediatrician at Riley Children’s Health.  She also runs a dog rescue that has saved countless dogs in need.
