Indy leaders pray for end to recent violence

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Business, faith and community leaders gathered Friday morning to pray for an end to recent violence.

The Ten Point Coalition’s 3rd Annual Community First Prayer Breakfast took place at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse.

This year’s keynote speaker was Reverend Eugene Rivers, a longtime community activist who served as an advisor to both Bush Administrations and the Clinton Administration.

24-Hour News 8’s Lori Wilson was the emcee. The Indiana Pacers also hosted the event.

The fundraiser for the Ten Point Coalition supports the Youth Jobs Indy program.
