Indy Parks looking to fill more than 400 summer jobs

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Spring may be three weeks away, but Indy Parks and Recreation is using the first day of March to start their summer jobs push.

Staff says they’re looking to fill more than 400 summer jobs with starting pay ranging from $10 – $15 an hour.

Some positions include cashiers, camp counselors, summer food coordinators and lifeguards.

Those applying for lifeguard positions need to pass a lifeguarding test first.

IndyParks is also reminding people that Sunday’s forecast is a great opportunity to walk, bike, and run the 135 miles of trails.
