Indy Parks to serve 240,000 free summer meals
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – While school is out for the summer, the Indy Hunger Network and Indy Parks will serve 240,000 free meals to make sure no child goes hungry.
It’s part of the Summer Servings Program. Indy Parks will serve meals at more than 100 locations with some offering a snack break option for kids, too.
The Indy Hunger Network works with more than 200 meal-serving sites around Marion County. Meals are free to children 18 and younger and to those older than 18 who have have a mental or physical disability.
