Indy runner with disability on track to be on cover of runner’s magazine

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – An Indiana man is vying to be on the cover of Runner’s World Magazine.

And he’s not that far off, he’s in first place.

Andrew Peterson is from Indianapolis. He says he wants to be the first athlete with intellectual disability to be on the magazine cover.

He was born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.

Peterson says he loves running and has won races in the Special Olympics.
