Indy to host US Mayor’s Conference in 2016

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Mayor Greg Ballard and the CEO of Visit Indy made an announcement Tuesday morning about a convention that’s coming to Indianapolis next year.

Ballard announced The United States Conference of Mayors will hold their annual meeting in the Circle City in June 2016.

More than 300 mayors from around the country, presidential candidates and national media will be invited to the convention, which is expected to bring about $1 million in business to the city.

The national leaders will help shape national policies while in Indianapolis.
