INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A famous band will “start it up” in a special way after the green flag waves at Sunday’s 99th run of the Indy 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
IndyCar Driver Justin Wilson’s Andretti Autosport No. 25 car will be wrapped in a full front-to-back Rolling Stones ZIP CODE tour theme for the race.
Wilson said he was excited to have the Rolling Stones featured on his car.
“For the biggest race of the year, to have one of the biggest rock bands in history is just incredible. Listening to the Rolling Stones was a Sunday tradition in our house. We would wake up and my Dad would have the music on full blast. I’m really excited and cannot wait to unveil the car,” said Wilson.
The ZIP CODE tour kicks off on Sunday in San Diego and will tour 15 U.S. cities, including Indianapolis on July 4 at IMS.
