Amazon hiring hundreds at Greenfield facility

GREENFIELD, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — The e-commerce giant is planning to hire more than 800 full-time workers ahead of the official launch of its Greenfield facility. Roles at the 615,000 square-foot fulfillment center include receiving inventory, picking and shipping and network logistics support. 

Candidates must be at least 18 and have a high school diploma or equivalent for the jobs that start out paying $15 per hour and comprehensive benefits from the first day on the job. The new facility will add to Amazon’s presence in the state having already established seven fulfillment and sortation centers, three delivery stations, two Amazon Hub Locker+ spots and other locations.
