HANCOCK CO., Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — Indianapolis-based Ambrose Property Group says it has another tenant for the growing Mount Comfort Logistics Center in Hancock County and is also planning further expansion. The real estate and property developer says Progressive Logistics will lease Building II in the business complex.

Construction on the 506,000 square foot building began last June and was completed earlier this year.

“Mount Comfort Logistic Center provides us with a state of the art, climate-controlled facility that allows us to continue growing our customer base for best-in-class food grade storage and services,” said Doug Hayes, principal / president of Progressive Logistics. “This facility will offer quality SQF, AIB and Organic Certified space as we continue to expand and grow our food-related and e-commerce business.”

Ambrose also says it will expand the campus with four additional Class A distribution buildings. The additional structures will bring the Mount Comfort logistics park to eight distribution facilities, totaling more than 3.5 million square feet.

“We expect demand to remain high at this location, which is why we moved forward with plans to expand the park to provide even more buildings ideal for distribution, logistics and e-commerce,” said Scott Sanders, vice president of development for Ambrose.

Ambrose says it will begin construction on the first of the four new buildings this fall. Plans call for a 750,000-square-foot building.
