Anderson University announces first 50-day plan

ANDERSON, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — Anderson University is outlining the return of in-person classes and fully restoring campus life within the first 50 days of the fall 2021 semester. President John Pistole says the school will continue to monitor COVID-19 on campus and will be ready to shift policies if needed.

“We are working to establish best practices for moving forward safely this next year,” said Pistole “Some scientifically-proven healthy habits for fighting the virus may still be in place, but we will be re-establishing the face-to-face, residential student experience that AU is known for.”

Pistole says the university also is planning some campus renovations over the summer months, including in dining commons and academic lab spaces. The university says it will return Homecoming activities, including Street Fair and intramural and athletic events, during the first 50 days of the semester.
