Avtex acquires Indy-based CPI assets

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – Minnesota-based technology company Avtex has acquired the assets of Indianapolis-based Communications Products Inc., a provider of contact center and communication solutions. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Avtex says it has agreed to purchase CPI’s portfolio of Genesys customers.

Avtex says the acquisition positions both companies to drive continued innovation and customer experience solutions to clients using Genesys solutions.

Avtex Chief Executive Officer George Demou says the acquisition provides the company with expanded technical talent, geographic reach and a progressive client base.

“Now more than ever, customer experience hubs, AI-enabled data analytics and single customer golden record are critical for organizations. Avtex will continue to be aggressive to expand our capabilities around these solutions, even during these market conditions for the benefit of our clients,” said Demou.

Avtex did not specify whether any Indiana jobs would be affected by the deal.
