CFP to detail events for national championship weekend

INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — The College Football Playoff will Thursday provide details on fan events and activities leading up to the 2022 CFP National Championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium. The events, which will include musical acts and the Allstate Championship Tailgate, will take place January 8-10 in downtown Indy.

The CFP says downtown Indy will serve as “the heart of Championship Campus” with events, including Media Day, Playoff Fan Central, AT&T Playoff Playlist Live!, the Extra Yard 5K and Taste of the Championship.

Officials from the CFP and the 2022 Indianapolis Host Committee will be on hand for the announcement, which is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Union Station in downtown Indy.
