Core BTS acquires Fort Wayne company

INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — Indianapolis-based Core BTS has acquired Aptera Software, a software development company headquartered in Fort Wayne. The IT and managed services provider is not disclosing financial terms of the deal, but says all Aptera employees will join the Core BTS team.

Core BTS says the acquisition will further advance its application development and modernization capabilities and meet growing client demand.

“We are thrilled to welcome the Aptera team to Core BTS and provide our clients with enhanced application development and modernization services to ensure that all facets of their transformation needs are met,” Paul Lidsky, chief executive officer of Core BTS, said in a news release. “Aptera’s software development services are cutting-edge and bringing the company under the Core BTS umbrella will allow us to provide even better traction for our clients’ transformation journeys and maximizes the impact of their investment especially in the Microsoft ecosystem.”

Core BTS did not specify whether the Aptera team will remain in Fort Wayne or will be relocated to Indy. However, the company says it does plan to add jobs in 2021 and beyond.
