Workforce Development hosting virtual job fair Tuesday
INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — The Indiana Department of Workforce Development and WorkOne Central will Tuesday host a virtual job fair. The DWD says the event will feature five employers with dozens of openings in the counties west of Indianapolis.
The job fair will run from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Representatives from each of the participating employers will discuss the job opportunities in detail. They include:
- Walmart eCommerce
- Maplehurst Bakeries
- Harlan Bakeries
- LifeScience Logistics
- Nice-Pak Products Inc.
“Employers are continually challenged to find skilled workers,” Lance Ratliff, executive director of the Region 5 Workforce Board, said in a news release. “The virtual job fair uses technology to implement a proven hiring technique: personally presenting an employer’s opportunities to a large audience of interested applicants.”
