Evansville collecting personal protective equipment

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – The Southwest Indiana Chamber, the Growth Alliance for Greater Evansville and the Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana have opened two Evansville-area locations to collect personal protective equipment. Donated items will be distributed to healthcare professionals throughout the Greater Evansville region.

Needed supplies include medical-grade masks, isolation masks, surgical masks, isolation gowns and lab coats, among other items.

According to a release, the two collection sites are the Romain Cadillac Service Center at 7600 E Division Street and the CK Newsome Center at 100 Walnut Street. Donations will be accepted at the Romain Cadillac location Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at their Service Center, and the CK Newsome Center location will accept donations Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
