Fishers launches Shop Fishers: Summer Series
FISHERS, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – The city of Fishers is expanding its Shop Fishers initiative this summer to celebrate and support local businesses. The city says the new Shop Fishers: Summer Series offers special discounts and promotions from 50 businesses and restaurants every Wednesday in August.
The city says the series will culminate with local and regional artwork and performances in partnership with Fishers Arts Council on Aug. 26.
“During these challenging times, it is more important than ever to support our city’s small businesses,” said Mayor Scott Fadness. “We have seen the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on our neighbors’, friends’, and family’s businesses, and we must help our local economy recover by supporting our small business owners.”
Participating businesses include 101 Beer Kitchen, Big Apple Bagels and Blue Peppermint, among others. You can view a full list by clicking here.
The new Shop Fishers: Summer Series is a spin-off of the annual Shop Fishers event held on Small Business Saturday in November.
In accordance with Fishers’ mask mandate, shoppers are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing inside businesses or anytime they are not able to practice social distancing outdoors.
