Indiana Arts Commission announces grants

INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — The Indiana Arts Commission has approved funding for a series of grants designed to support community-based arts providers throughout the state. The commission approved 382 grants during its recent quarterly business meeting.

More than $2.8 million worth of Arts Organization Support and Arts Project Support grants were approved for arts organizations and providers that highlight community engagement.

“This funding is crucial to sustaining the operations of arts organizations, which is a significant source of economic prosperity in Indiana,” said Lewis Ricci, IAC executive director. “We know that these organizations have been heavily impacted by the pandemic, and this funding will help them weather the storm as they continue to adapt to this new normal and create safe, meaningful experiences for Hoosiers.”
