INDOT to pay $20-$24 per hour for winter workers, snowplow drivers

INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — The Indiana Department of Transportation is Thursday hosting a statewide hiring event.

The agency says it is primarily recruiting winter seasonal positions, but will also hire for other job openings, including highway technicians, mechanics and engineers.

INDOT says winter seasonal employees earn $20 per hour and snowplow drivers earn $24 per hour. They must have a commercial driver’s license (CDL) at the time of the interview and winter CDL drivers who work full time may qualify for $250 sign-on and $500 retention bonuses.

The hiring event will happen from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. local time at these locations:
