INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — IndyHub will Tuesday host what it calls one of the largest volunteer recruitment events in the Midwest at Victory Field in downtown Indianapolis. IndyVolved is designed to connect young leaders in the city with more than 100 nonprofits and civic organizations to learn about volunteer, committee work, and board service opportunities.

This year’s event will see a return to in-person attendance and will feature organizations from a variety of areas, including health and human services, arts and culture, education, and neighborhood development.

“We know that nonprofits across our community have worked hard throughout this pandemic to lift up families, bolster public health, provide educational programming, build a more inclusive city and so much more,” IndyHub Chief Executive Officer Blake Johnson said in a news release. “But the work is far from over, and many of these organizations are still in great need of the time and talents of dedicated volunteers. Indy’s young people are up for the challenge, and we look forward to helping make some of those introductions at our city’s largest civic engagement event.”

IndyHub says the event has hosted nearly 2,000 attendees since its inception. You can learn more about the event by clicking here.
