INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – The Indiana Conference for Women has named Cynthia Germanotta as a keynote speaker at the 10th annual Indiana Conference for Women on November 10. Germanotta is the president and co-founder of Born This Way Foundation, an organization co-founded with her daughter Lady Gaga to support wellness among young people.

The organization says Germanotta’s keynote speech will focus on how young people are creating a kinder and braver world.

“Cynthia Germanotta’s work through Born This Way Foundation to improve understanding of mental wellness is inspiring and something we need more of in today’s world,” said Billie Dragoo-Garcia, co-founder of ICFW with Deborah Collins Stephens. “She is truly an advocate for a kinder and braver world. Our attendees will be inspired by her passion.”

As a keynote speaker, the ICFW says Germanotta will share how the foundation works to build a community that provides approachable resources, fosters genuine connection, and drives action. Part of her keynote will focus on the book “CHANNEL KINDNESS,” a collection of inspirational stories written by young people that also includes personal notes of empowerment from Lady Gaga.

The Indiana Conference for Women will be held at the Indiana Convention Center. Additional keynote speakers announced include Taraji P. Henson and Betsey Johnson and the organization says other keynote speakers and presenters will continue to be announced.
