Leadership changes for Batesville Tool & Die

BATESVILLE, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – Batesville Tool & Die Inc. says its chief executive officer and president, Jody Fledderman, has transitioned to the position of chairman and chief executive officer. The company says Robert Holtel took over as president in September.

Fledderman has served as BTD’s CEO and president since 1989. The company says Fledderman took on the role of president at 27 years old when BTD had $17 million in sales, 230 employees and a 69,000 square foot building. 

BTD says it has since grown to more than $165 million in sales, 1,182 employees, and more than 540,000 square feet at multiple locations.

Holtel started his career at BTD in 1985. He transitioned to president of Mexican operations in 2016 before transitioning to president. He is also an acting member on both the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors for BTD.
