Nelbud acquires Illinois company
INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — Indianapolis-based Nelbud Services Group Inc. has completed its acquisition of Great Lakes Fire & Safety, headquartered in Illinois. Nelbud, which provides ventilation services and fire protection for commercial kitchens, says the acquired company’s assets will be rebranded under the Nelbud name.
Great Lakes provides a variety of fire protection services, including sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and hood and duct cleaning. The company was founded in 1950.
“Great Lakes Fire Protection is one of the most admired companies with the most respected customer bases in the Midwest and is known for consistent quality,” Michael Crafton, chief executive officer of Nelbud, said in a news release. “Great Lakes customers and service offerings are strategically positioned, geographically, to Nelbud’s core customer base. Combined with Nelbud’s industry-leading technology services, Nelbud will be able to adapt to the market’s increasing desire for high-quality services delivered with speed, efficiency and reporting transparency.”
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
