New Albany helping businesses prepare to reopen

NEW ALBANY, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — The city of New Albany has partnered with Develop New Albany to prepare “re-opening kits” for local businesses shut down or hampered by COVID-19.

The kits will include items needed for businesses to safely reopen, such as sanitizer, custom vinyl “social distancing” tape for businesses to place on their floors and also any specific PPE that may be needed.

“We are cautiously moving forward,” stated Mayor Jeff Gahan. “Let’s not forget what we have learned: In public, stay six feet apart, wear a mask, wash your hands frequently and stay home if you are sick or if you have symptoms. We can reopen safely if we try.”
