Northeast Indiana Works CEO to retire

NORTHEAST INDIANA (Inside INdiana Business) – The chief executive officer of Northeast Indiana Works, Kathleen Randolph, has announced she will retire at the end of the year. The organization says current President Edmond O’Neal will take over the role of president and CEO.

The organization says Randolph has spent 18 years in regional workforce development leadership. During her tenure, Randolph was responsible for overseeing the region’s 11 WorkOne Northeast career centers, among other duties.

“It has been my honor and passion to be part of a collaborative spirit in northeast Indiana that has led to an alignment between workforce and economic development,” said Randolph. “That kind of partnership, as well as partnerships with numerous entities throughout the region, has fostered a deep commitment to developing, attracting and retaining talent. The challenges we face in northeast Indiana in ensuring a strong, skilled workforce – and in turn a robust regional economy – are no different from what other areas of the country face. But it is my belief that because of our region’s dedication to working together, we are better positioned than most to meet those challenges.”

The organization serves northeast Indiana’s 11-county workforce system.
