OneZone names new president

FISHERS, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — The OneZone Board of Directors has named Jack Russell president of OneZone Inc. Russell has served has served as interim president for the organization, which serves as the chamber of commerce for Carmel and Fishers, since March.

Russell succeeds Mo Merhoff, who retired after leading OneZone and its predecessor organization for 20 years.

“Jack’s commitment, energy, and creative ideas for how to support the business communities in Carmel and Fishers set him apart from the other candidates,” said Kathy Krusie, president of the OneZone board. “His connections with key stakeholders across Central Indiana will provide a solid foundation for our collaborative efforts moving forward.”

Russell was named chief operating officer of OneZone more than two years ago. He previously served as president of the Westfield Chamber of Commerce.

Russell also serves as a board member for the Indiana Chamber Executive Association and a member of the Hamilton County Workforce Recovery Task Force.
