Reopen Evansville Task Force devising plans

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — When civic and business life are allowed to reopen, businesses in the Greater Evansville area want to be ready to respond, and have established a task force to devise a plan to support businesses and services. The Reopen Evansville Task Force is working to set up online virtual meetings for different businesses to have a plan in place. 

The meetings will be administered by Task Force members and will be limited to an hour.

“If you operate a business in the Evansville region, I highly encourage you to join the virtual meeting representing your industry this week,” said Reopen Evansville Task Force Chairman, Steve Schaefer. “Your feedback is critical to the Task Force and reopening the local economy.”

Each Zoom meeting will be broken down into certain sectors and each has their own link to join: food & beverage, manufacturing, close contact business, local retail. Interested businesses may also sign up at swinchamber.com.
