STG Logistics names former Celadon exec CEO

Paul Svindland

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — Illinois-based STG Logistics, owned by Chicago-based private-equity firm Wind Point Partners, has named Paul Svindland its chief executive officer.

Svindland was most recently CEO of the now-bankrupt trucking company Celadon Group Inc.

Svindland has spent 25 years in the transportation and logistics industry. He formerly was chairman and chief executive of Farren International and EZE Trucking. He was also chief operating officer of Pacer International. His experience spans ocean and air logistics, freight forwarding, intermodal, over-the-road trucking and various 3PL services.

Greg Muldoon, STG chairman and interim CEO, will continue to serve as the chairman of the company headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois.

“We are extremely excited for Paul to join the STG team. His broad experience across ocean, air, and truckload transportation will provide him with a strong background to strengthen STG’s relationships with both customers and suppliers. We look forward to STG’s continued growth with Paul leading the organization,” said Muldoon.
