NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — A Noblesville-based IT solutions company has been acquired by the parent of New Lisbon Telephone Co. Inc. in Henry County. The deal for Taylored Systems comes amid founder and President Bill Taylor’s plans to retire after nearly 40 years.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Taylored Systems says it will join the New Lisbon Holdings Inc. family of companies.

“When John Greene with New Lisbon Holdings offered to purchase Taylored Systems, keep it in the same location, and keep our current management and staff, I knew it was the right opportunity for all,” Taylor said in a news release. “With the synergies between the two companies, I know the company is in good hands to continue the nearly 40 years of supporting and growing our fantastic customer base.”

New Lisbon says Taylor will remain with the company for several months as a consultant to ensure a seamless transition for customers. Amy Hart-Ramey, who has been with Taylored Systems for over 20 years and most recently served as vice president of finance, is being promoted to president of the company.
