INDIANAPOLIS(Inside INdiana Business) – Indianapolis-based TechPoint Foundation for Youth (TPF4Y) has announced that Steve Ehrlich will serve as its interim president and chief executive officer beginning next week. Ehrlich is a founding director of the organization and is replacing longtime executive director Laura Dodds.

“I am both excited and honored to have this opportunity to step in and take the reins of the foundation during the board’s search for a new leader,” said Ehrlich, “Laura’s tenure leading the organization has been nothing short of amazing, and her departure leaves a big void for the board to fill.”

The foundation says Ehrlich has helped shape and scale technology companies such as Software Artistry, Aprimo, Autobase and PolicyStat and most recently served as the chief operating officer at Indianapolis-based Bolstra. Ehrlich was a founding board member of TPF4Y from 2000-2001 and served as chairman of the foundation’s board of directors in 2003.

TPF4Y says it has seen tremendous growth under the leadership of Ms. Dodds.

“After more than 12 years serving at the pleasure of an absolutely amazing board of directors and the best nonprofit team of professionals around, leaving is bittersweet,” Dodd said. “But I am leaving the foundation in excellent financial and programmatic position and with a leader I greatly respect.”

TPF4Y says it will begin the search for a permanent president and chief executive officer this month.
