Venture capital group expanding to 16 Tech

INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — Cincinnati-based Lightship Capital has announced it will move into a new office in the 16 Tech Innovation District in downtown Indianapolis in 2021. Lightship says the move is part of a strategy to have a physical presence in Midwest cities to create more opportunities for entrepreneurs in regions who may have been overlooked by the venture capital community.

Lightship will operate from HqO, a 100,000 square foot innovation hub to be open early next year, and the company says it will be a flexible office space managed by the national incubation network 1776.
