INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — An Indianapolis-based tech company is under new ownership. Renaissance Electronic Services LLC, which provides EDI products and services for dental practices nationwide, has been acquired by Georgia-based Vyne, though financial details are not being disclosed.

Vyne is a health information exchange and electronic healthcare communication management company. The company says the acquisition of RES will bolster its current dental portfolio and create a single source for the electronic management of dental claims and claim attachments.

“Vyne’s investment in Renaissance enables us to expand offerings for our dental clients, partners and payers,” Lindy Benton, chief executive officer of Vyne, said in a news release. “Vyne and Renaissance share a common goal of empowering providers with technology solutions to better run their businesses. Uniting our companies means we’re able to strategically offer dental practices the unique opportunity to partner with a single organization that possesses more than 50 years of combined experience developing cutting-edge dental technology solutions.”

A spokesperson for Vyne says no jobs will be affected by the acquisition. Operations for RES will continue to be based in Indianapolis, while Vyne will continue to operate in the Atlanta area.
