Irvington holds anti-violence rally
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Stopping violence was the goal of a rally held Sunday in Irvington.
About 50 people showed up for the rally in front of school 57 on Washington Street.
People sang and prayed at the event.
They came together to help keep the peace.
The rally included folks from seven different Irvington congregations.
One speaker said that acts of violence against even one person in the community were too much.
