INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – Ivy Tech Community College will Wednesday hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its Automotive Technology Center in Indianapolis. The 60,000-square-foot facility will house classrooms, training labs, faculty offices, student commons and corporate labs for the college’s manufacturing partners.

The ceremony will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 4751 Century Plaza Road in Indianapolis. The college says it plans to enhance partnerships within the International Marketplace District to increase educational attainment.

The ceremony will include remarks from Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett, Ivy Tech President Dr. Sue Ellspermann and International Marketplace District Executive Director Mary Clark, among others.
