Joella’s Hot Chicken opens new location, offers giveaway in Hamilton County

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — Joella’s Hot Chicken is opening a brand new location Thursday morning on the Carmel/Westfield border in the Cool Creek Commons shopping center. The business is also giving a special offer to the first 100 people in line to get through Joella’s doors: free hot chicken for an entire year.

Just under a dozen fans set up shop outside of the new restaurant Wednesday afternoon.

For social distancing purposes, crews set up 100 markers with the restaurant’s logo set six feet apart for the guests who decide to show up before the doors open at 8 a.m. The early celebration kicks off at 4 a.m. Thursday for waiting customers with a live DJ, complimentary chicken and waffles and some Joella’s Hot Chicken gear.
