Kokomo police probe fire that killed 4

KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) – The Kokomo police are asking for help after a woman and her three sons died in a house fire on Feb. 20, 2005.

Amy Parrish, 25 and her sons Dacota Rasmussen, 4, Caleb Parrish, 2, and Casey Parrish, 11 were removed from the burning house.

Michael Parrish, Amy’s husband and father to the children, escaped the fire and survived.

On March 25, 2005, Amy Parrish was exhumed and an autopsy revealed that she had died of smoke inhalation. The case was classified as a cold case.

Kokomo police are reviewing the case for any additional details or leads.
