INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After a muggy stretch of days, we’ll get a shot of beautiful weather starting Saturday afternoon.
Cold front has sparked a couple of storms across the area this morning. These should be short lived, and my mid morning, we dry out across the state.
Expect clouds to decrease, along with humidity this afternoon. Highs should top out in the lower 80s this afternoon.
With drier air in place, expect much cooler temperatures overnight under a partly cloudy sky. Lows fall to the lower to middle 50s.
About as good as it gets for late August. Mostly sunny, comfortable temperatures and lower humidity. Highs top out in the middle to upper 70s.
8 day forecast:
We’ll see the humidity build back starting Monday, which should bring some scattered rain chances back to the area. We’ll likely stay on the muggy side of things through at least Thursday, with nearly daily storm chances. Drier air looks to return late week heading into Labor Day weekend.
