2 seriously injured in Montogomery County four-wheeler crash
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Two people were seriously injured in a Wednesday evening four-wheeler crash in Montgomery County, according to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
Around 5:15 p.m., first responders were called to the area of State Road 234 and County Road 925, near Ladoga, for a crash.
An early investigation from the department states 35-year-old Zachary Bauman, with a juvenile passenger, driving north on County Road 925 East when he did not stop at the T-intersection at State Road 234. The four-wheeler then proceeded to collide with a guardrail.
Both Bauman and the juvenile were taken to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis for treatment.
The juvenile incurred a serious leg injury while Bauman ultimately lost a leg due to the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
