2 women shot on near east side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Two women were shot on the city’s near east side Thursday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the 1200 block of Jefferson Avenue just after 8:30 a.m.
Police found one woman outside the house and one woman outside the residence.
Both were transported to the hospital with what police have described as non-life threatening injuries.
It’s unclear what led up to the shooting.
Police are currently questioning a man.
