3 vehicles involved in late night accident

CARMEL,Ind. (WISH) – Officers responded to a three car accident just before midnight Saturday night.

The accident occurred near Keystone Parkway and Main Street in Carmel.

Police say two vehicles were traveling north on Keystone when one of the vehicles hit the other.  The vehicle, which was hit, was sent backwards over the median into south bound traffic.

A third vehicle was involved after the driver did not have enough time to react and hit the vehicle sent over the median.

The driver of the vehicle pushed into south bound traffic was transported to St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to police, alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
