35-year-old pedestrian dies after walking into path of dump truck
CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) — A 35-year-old man from Indianapolis died Tuesday afternoon after walking into the path of a dump truck on a U.S. 31 ramp, police said.
Adam J. Bisesi died in the crash occurred about 2 p.m. on the ramp from northbound U.S. 31 to 146th and 151st streets, Carmel Police Department said in a news release.
An early investigation by Carmel police showed Bisesi walked into the road in the path of a 2000 International dump truck. The driver of truck was unable to stop and struck Bisesi.
The ramp was closed for about three hours for accident reconstructionists.
The release provided no additional information.
