36-year-old dies in crash near Bloomfield

BLOOMFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — A 36-year-old Bloomfield resident died in a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning, police said.
About 8:20 a.m. Tuesday, Kristen Laue was driving east on Furnace Road east of Bloomfield when the 2007 Hyundai sport-utility vehicle she was driving went off the south side of the road and struck a utility pole. The SUV came to rest on its roof.
Laue died at the crash site. She was alone in the SUV.
Greene County Sheriff’s Office did not provide any information on what may have caused the crash.
