3rd annual Indy Fitness Fest gives Hoosiers a reason to get active

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Hoosiers have a chance to get active, and maybe sweat a little, as day three of the Indy Fitness Festival kicked off Saturday morning.

The festival is a studio and gym crawl that began Thursday with more than 40 participating locations and over 95 classes being offered. All classes that are part of the festival are full-length ranging from 15-60 minutes.

Organizers say this year’s festival, which is the largest to date, is even more important because of the pandemic.

“People are experiencing anxiety right now and I think our fitness community really stepped up and came together to offer people different ways to cope with the stress,” said Angi Grant who is the founder of Indy Fitness Festival.

There are two-day passes and single day passes for either Saturday or Sunday and for every ticket sold, a portion of the proceeds will go to Friends of Indianapolis Animal Care Services Foundation.
