Adult living complex seeks volunteers to help with holiday lights display

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Damar Village is looking for volunteers to set up its first-ever holiday light show on Saturday at 6067 Decatur Blvd. on the southwest side of Indianapolis.

The show is to delight and welcome residents who are spending their first Christmas at Damar Village.

Damar’s adult living complex serves people with developmental disabilities.

The complex is also offering a free drive-thru light show in December as a “Thank You” gift to the community for all of its support.

There will be more than 10,000 feet of lights, several light displays and 130 Christmas trees to be decorated.

Volunteers age 16 and older are needed on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. Indoor and outdoor jobs are available.
