Artist celebrates 30th anniversary at the Circle City Industrial Complex with special showcase
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Every month, the Circle City Industrial Complex celebrates the arts community with its “First Friday Art Tour.” It’s a chance to showcase new talent and projects produced by the Circle City’s own. However, On Friday, they highlighted just one artist: Martha Nahrwold.
Nahrwold will celebrate her 30th anniversary as a working artist in the complex and will be putting her passion for marbled impressionism on full display in the Schwitzer Gallery.
During the three-hour show, she’s featuring a wall full of her latest work that showcases her unique skill, her story and her love for the craft.
She became a part of the Circle City Industrial Complex in 1990. At that time, she remembers being the only artist in the 500,000-square-foot building. Now, the building is home to many local talents.
Watch Nahrwold’s interviews with All Indiana’s Randall Newsome to learn about her unique talent as an artist.
