Black Friday shoppers hunt for deals

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Shoppers filled malls and stores around Central Indiana Friday looking for Black Friday deals. 

A long line of people were standing outside of the Cabela’s in Noblesville before it opened at 5 a.m. Friday. 

There were also people waiting to shop at the Castleton Square Mall before it opened at 6 a.m.

Some shoppers News 8 talked to had been shopping since 2 p.m. Thanksgiving day. 

According to a survey done by the National Retail Federation, of those planning to shop during the Thanksgiving weekend, 71 percent planned to shop on Black Friday. 

About 65 percent of those shopping this year said they are taking advantage of deals, 26 percent said it’s part of their family tradition.
