Blog turns into non-profit to support caregivers
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — What started out as a blog has blossomed into a non-profit organization for one Indianapolis woman.
Amanda Clark is behind “Cocktails & Chemo,” a support group for those helping loved ones fight cancer.
Her husband Joe was diagnosed shortly before their wedding. They canceled their honeymoon and he headed into chemotherapy.
Joe beat cancer once but one week after learning they were going to become parents, Joe’s cancer returned.
