Boy hospitalized after being shot while asleep
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Officials are investigating after a bullet struck a boy while he was sleeping in his own bed.
It happened on the city’s east side on East 36th Place just before 3 a.m.
Officers believe a suspect pulled up and fired multiple shots into the home.
The boy was struck while sleeping and later taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Suspect information has yet to be released.
