Carmel Winter Games get underway Thursday night

CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) — The Carmel Winter Games kick off Thursday night and will take place throughout the weekend with events like human curling and an ice trike relay.

The three-day event begins Thursday night with skating at the Ice at Center Green with Indy Fuel and Nitro.

Friday night is Hometown Herolympics with games like “human hungry hippo” with inner tubes, laundry baskets and lots of bouncing balls.

On Saturday, the skateless competition begins with teams of four to 12 people.

There is a required donation of $300 per team and all proceeds go to the food pantry at Carmel United Methodist Church.
