Central Indiana seniors invited to ‘Prom at the Palladium’
CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) – The COVID-19 pandemic has affected many areas of our lives.
From the sports and entertainment world to schools, workplaces, restaurants and everything in between, the deadly virus has resulted in delays, cancellations and furloughs.
While Indiana’s schools are no longer in session for the remainder of the school year, this has led to many school districts to cancel proms. Well, high school seniors in central Indiana still have an opportunity to enjoy prom.
That’s because the Center for the Performing Arts will host “Prom at the Palladium” on Aug. 7 and 8 at the Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts, 1 Center Green in Carmel at 8 p.m.
Seniors and their guests must pick one of the two available dates. Attendance is limited to 400 people and students must present student IDs in order to gain entry.
There will be a DJ, a photo station, refreshments and other features typically found at proms.
Tickets are $10 a person and go on sale June 1 at TheCenterPresents.org.
